The measurement is taken from under the armpits from seam to seam.. Unisex sizing means that there are no darts on the front of the shirt.
How to Measure for Hawaiian Shirts:
With your arms at your sides, measure around the fullest part of your chest or under arms. If your fullest part is below your chest, measure that. If you are looking for a really loose or baggy fit, order one size up. All measurements above are to be used as a guide. These shirts are manufactured to fit comfortably. They are NOT fitted shirts. There is no top button to close the neck.
